Explore strategies to create an inclusive and welcoming classroom where every child and family feels valued. This session will focus on celebrating the rich diversity of family compositions and cultures through thoughtful language, activities, and classroom practices. Teachers will engage in discussions, take a look at inclusive literature and materials, and come up with ideas to nurture a sense of belonging for all children. We will learn how to honor and represent families in ways that affirm each child’s unique identity and build a stronger, more connected Kindergarten classroom community.
