About me
Toby is an educator and assistive technology specialist supporting students with significant disabilities from preschool through high school With Edmonton Catholic Schools. She is passionate about inclusion and ensuring access to communication, literacy, the curriculum and a genuine sense of connection & community for all students. In her 30+ years of supporting and learning from students, families and school teams, she has worked as a teacher in K-8 regular and specialized classrooms across Canada and is currently providing coaching, modelling and professional development opportunities for Edmonton Catholic Schools & Kids with Cancer Society. Toby holds a Masters of Education in Special Education from the University of Alberta with a focus on literacy for students with significant disabilities.
